Damon Braces – Simply Faster Treatment

This is a super video discussing the outstanding results obtained using the Damon Braces and Damon Wires. The system is “self-ligating”, meaning the wires and braces are nearly friction free. This reduction in friction allows the orthodontist to apply much lighter forces with decreased numbers of adjustments. And the wires are high tech, body-heat activated. This means the wires are ‘soft’ when initially placed, then become ‘springy’ as the wire warms to body temperature. All this translates to less pain, fewer orthodontic visits, and faster treatment! Well, it’s time to post the CSRA’s first dental blog. I get asked about so many different dental procedures that I thought it would be a great idea to have a “central location” to find answers to many dental questions. I will post articles that I think will be of interest to residents of the CSRA. I will also be asking many of my dental colleagues to post articles they think would be of interest, such as cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics (gums), endodontics (root canals), dental implants, and… oh yeah… ORTHODONTICS! These articles will be what I think is the latest in techniques and technology. Feel free to post comments or questions and I’ll be happy to reply. I hope this will be a useful and interesting site!
